April – June 2025
1. Conduct first General Body meeting of the Alumni Association on April 5, 2025
2. Amend activities of the Association based on input from the meeting and accordingly revise the two year plan
3. Invite all members to donate $200 each to the Association
4. Initiate and formalize contacts with the UAF
July – September 2025
1. Continue working on expansion of the membership
2. Conduct a zoom meeting of the Executive Committee (EC)
3. Raise a total donation of at least $10,000, if not received from the first call
October – December 2025
1. Decide with the UAF on how to use funds from the association including selection of deserving candidates for the year 2026
2. Revise web page based on inputs and the work done so far
3. Make changes in the by-laws as needed
January - March 2026
1. Issue donation receipts to members and file a tax return
2. Decide on scholarships to be awarded in consultation with the University authorities
3. Transfer funds to the UAF
4. Start planning for a social gathering of members with spouses on self-help basis to be held on April 15, 2026
5. Decide location of the social gathering and make arrangements
April – June 2026
1. Host the social event on April 5, 2026
2. Launch second fund raising
3. Review one year (2025) performance of the EC
4. Explore alternate ways of donations to boost funds, special persuasion of well-off individuals
5. Consider to establish endowment fund at the University
July – September 2026
1. Conduct a zoom meeting of the EC with a option for other members to join
2. Prepare an election plan for EC
3. Identify areas and activities other than funding
October – December 2026
1. Finalize election plan for the EC
2. Announce elections and finalize a list of candidates
3. Review the 2026 University scholarship plan/performance
January - March 2027
1. Conduct elections for the EC via electronic voting
2. Announce the new EC
3. Transfer funds to the University
4. Prepare for a meeting of the General Body in April 2027
