About UAFAANA
The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad Alumni Association of North America (UAFAANA) was officially registered in Virginia, USA, in April 2024 and received recognition as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service in August 2024.
The association was founded by Dr. M. Rafiq Chaudhry, M. Tufail Chaudhry, and Dr. Fallak Sher Sial—classmates from the 64-Ag batch—who currently reside in the Washington, DC metro area.
Following its establishment, an Executive Committee was formed by nomination in February 2025 to oversee operations for the next two years.
The main vehicle for communications among alumni is the WhatsApp group called UAF Alumni - USA. As of May 2026, the group has 120 members. There are more alumni who are not members of the WhatsApp group. There is no fee for becoming a member — go to Membership above and double click Become a Member or simply email your details, including your name, phone number, year of admission to UAF, area of specialization, and current state of residence in the USA to [email protected].
Given the overwhelming response from UAF graduates, the first General Body meeting of UAFAANA was held on April 5, 2025, in Falls Church, Virginia. The 2026 General Body meeting of UAFAANA was held on April 25, 2026. List of participants, brief summary reports and photos of the both meetings are available under Events and News.
The Executive Committee meets as and when needed.
